J&K Cabinet Orders Reshuffle of IAS, KAS Officers

SRINAGAR, JUNE 23- The State Cabinet which met here this evening under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah ordered the following transfers and postings in the state administration.
Mr. G.A. Peer, Excise Commissioner, J&K (holding additional charge of Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K) is transferred and posted as Commissioner /Secretary to Government, Health and Medical Education Department, relieving Mr. Suresh Kumar, Principal Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department of the additional charge.
Mr. Sheikh Ejaz Iqbal, Commissioner /Secretary to Government, Revenue Department is transferred and posted as Commissioner /Secretary to Government, ARI & Trainings Department relieving Mr. Jeet Lal Gupta, Commissioner /Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department of the additional charge.
Mr. Kachoo Isfandyar Khan, Director, Industries and Commerce, Kashmir is transferred and posted as Commissioner /Secretary to Government, Revenue Department.
Mr. Gazzanfer Hussain, Secretary in the Agriculture Production Department is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes relieving Excise Commissioner, J&K of the additional charge.
Smt. Vineeta Gupta, Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes(Administration), Jammu is transferred and posted as Excise Commissioner, J&K.
Mr. Mehraj-ud-Din Kenu, Director, Handicrafts, J&K is transferred and posted as Director, Industries and Commerce, Kashmir.
Mr. Munshi Muzaffar Hussain, Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam is transferred and posted as Director, Handicrafts, J&K.
Mr. Kiran Wattal, Joint Commissioner (Works), Jammu Municipal Corporation is transferred and posted as Secretary, J&K Sports Council on deputation basis relieving, Director, Youth Services and Sports of the additional charge of the post. During his posting in the Sports Council, Mr. Wattal shall retain his lien in his parent organization.
